Tom Palmer also does a series called Football Academy, as well as the book referred to in the MNHQ round up.

I think a new Billy Bonkers book has just been released too, in anticipation of the World Cup.

My kids really liked Eeek! The Runaway Alien by Karen Inglis. It's about a football mad alien who runs away from space to be with 11-year-old Charlie during the World Cup.

My 7 years old DS is a confident reader (ORT - Limes) . Are any of these books suitable for him?

Thanks.

How did I not know about the Simon Bartram book! Shock Have to have that.

However, the Dino FC books from Usborne are great fun, suitable for age 7+, or probably from about 4+ for able readers.
