Just like you is a gorgeous book.
Hairy McClary & Slinky Malinky series are humourous and have great illustrations.

There's loads of the Hairy McClary books.

She might like the Usborne Farmyard tales? They're actually aimed at children learning to read, but dd loved them as stories to be read to her.

They have a short bit of text at the top of the page with the 'plot' and then a longer bit of text at the bottom - so you can just read the short bits and look at the pictures if you want.
