Mr Stink by David Walliams - is it suitable for a 7 year old boy?

DS was given this for his birthday. His reading isn't good enough to read it by himself so I would be reading it to him. Just wondering in case it contains anything too grown up for him.

The last book I read to him was the Incredible Luck of Alfie Pluck which we both really enjoyed.

Yes it is. My DD read it last year at 8y and enjoyed it. She also enjoyed Billionaire Boy, also by David Walliams.

It's perfect for a 7 yr old boy. There's quite a bit of potty humour so I'm sure he'll enjoy it!

DS2 is 7 and has read it, he says it was similar to Roald Dahl.

This is on a national tour as a stage show. Nottingham Playhouse this week and plays until November around the country. Saw it here Sunday - very good fun and Scratch n Sniff so you can smell the smells live. (Gross)

Thanks very much for that, will have a look later. Have started reading it too him and he seems to like it. He was rolling around the bed laughing last night when Mr Stink asked Chloe if he smelt.

Well, its taken us a while, mainly due to school holiday fun but we've finished it and he loved it. Even made my cry at the end old sentimental fool that I am.
