She loves books and want to pick up some for her birthday. She likes books like 'Monkey and Me' and the Emily Brown books.

Any Ideas?

Slinky Malinky always goes down well?

Tiddler by Julia Donaldson is a big favourite with my 3 year old.

He also loves Winnie the Witch, we got a set of 10 for £10 in a cloth bag recently from the Book People - bargain!

All of the Julia Donaldson books - if your DD likes monkeys then Monkey puzzle would be lovely for her; DS' favourites are Squash and a Squeeze and The Smartest Giant in Town

All of the Ahlberg books, but Burglar Bill is a favourite

Topsy and Tim books - they're all brilliant as far as 3 yo DS is concerned

Bright Stanley

Any of the Pat Hutchins books - Don't Forget The Bacon and We're Going on a Picnic

The owl who was afraid of the dark

The lamb who came to dinner

Any of the Jez Arlborough (sp?) books but Fix It Duck and Duck In The Truck are favourites

I could go on! Let me know if you need more ideas.
