A friend is looking for a job in preschools or a playgroup or a nursery but isn't having much luck.
Are there any specific websites I could direct her to?
Thanks smile

try the local authority (town/city council) own websites, they often post their nursery and playworker vacancies on there smile

I would suggest she phones the nurseries/pre-schools direct as a lot of them can't afford the advertising fees when they have vacancies.
Or send a letter and ask for an interview.
Or try the Jobcentreplus website.

Contacting nurseries direct is usually the best method.
If the nursery is a council one council will list job vacancies at the nursery along with other council jobs on the council website and also possibly on Jobsgopublic.com

Another thing to try is working for a nursery temp agency - then your friend will get to visit several local nurseries. Temp agencies will usually require NVQ Level 3 or equiv qualification... so that the temp can be a room leader if necessary.
