I'm a newly registered CM and am just negotiating some details with what I hope will be my first customer! I wonder if someone could help me out with this as my support childminder is on holiday this week.
I have already told my potential customer that I would like to take 20 days unpaid holiday a year (pro rata this works out at 12 days as I will be working 3 days a week for her). She has asked me whether Christmas will come out of my 12 days. What do you normally do for bank holidays, do you take them as paid or unpaid and are they included in or additional to your agreed holiday entitlement?
