Hi, hope you lot can help

for two siblings - pick up from school, provide snack, mind until parents come home (prob 2.5hrs in total each afternoon) in London

I haven't a clue, any thoughts?

Have a look on the childcare information site here

Put in your postcode & have a look at childminding rates locally

There is often a 3 hr minimum?

or are you looking for a nanny (you pay tax & NI)

or a mother's help?

it's actually a schoolmate (of DDs) mum who has offered, just wondering what to offer to pay her? looks like min £12 per child per afternoon?

I charge £5 per hour, plus dinner if they are eating

does anyone do sibling discounts? or is it not worth it for such a short time?

I haven't got school pick -up siblings so it has never been an issue for me.

You wouldn't give much of a discount for such a short time anyway

I charge £4.50 ph which includes dinner. Maybe I should review my rates!!! But that seems to be the going rate round in my area. And I only give discounts if I care for a full time sibling as well, especially for school holidays
