Start using Mumsnet PremiumBaby going to childminder after bronchilitis?
(3 Posts)Hello Mumsnet!
Just hoping for a bit of advice - 12month baby came down with bronchilitis last Wednesday and has been in hospital for three nights. Came out today and is much better in himself but still a bit wheezy.
When would you think it OK for him to go to the childminder? We're trying to settle him in before I return to work next week, so it's quite important he goes.
Any advice or experience welcome.
Thank you!!!

Hi, i would say if he doesn't have a temperature and is eating and generally happy to join in with whatever the cm has planned then yes he should go. If he only came out today it might be best to give him another day at home? Glad he's getting better.
If he had been going for a while I’d say yes but for settling in he needs to be on top form, otherwise it won’t go well and that’s not fair on him or the CM.
