(5 Posts)I'm a childminder and I am thinking of advertising for doing some evening baby sitting. Specifically I am thinking of being available on New Years Eve.
I'm not sure what the usual rate of pay would be or if it should be higher for NYE.
I am Surrey/London borders. (close to some very posh areas which is where I would advertise for NYE).
Does anyone else baby sit and if so what would you charge?
So far bids for NYE babysitting this year [several nannies have been chatting] have ranged from £15ph to £25ph
I babysit normally and charge £8ph my nannyrate is £10
£8 per hour for evening babysitting. Not in London but in a major city. I don't think I will sit on nye but would probably want at least double. I think £20 seems to be the most popular
I babysat last NYE and got £250 for 7pm-2am. It was for a family I often babysit and they came to me with the price, couldn't turn it down!
