Hi.
How much holidays per year will a two day a wk Nanny be entitled to? Mid-wk, so no bank holidays to worry about.
TIA

If you are giving the legal minimum, then 2/5 of 28 days which is 11.2 days. You may wish to round up but you can't round down.

From gov.uk -

"The statutory holiday entitlement is 11.2 days holiday.
The employer:

can include bank and public holidays as part of the statutory entitlement
must not round down the holiday entitlement, but may round it up
must provide holiday pay during the statutory leave
can provide more paid holiday - this will be in the employment contract and is called ‘contractual leave entitlement’"

HTH.

Don't forget christmas, Boxing Day and New Years day may be working days as they change each year. What my employers and I do each year as I work mid week. Is look at those days and if they fall on my working days take them away from the total number of holiday days and then split what's left between us. So we do end up with a different number of days each, each year but it makes it easier all round.
