Anyone prepared to share photos with me?

I am about to start teaching NCT antenatal classes and it would be lovely (and very helpful) for the parents-to-be to be able to see real photos of women in labour, after the birth, newborn babies etc.

Especially any of labour rooms, home births, being monitored, epidural in place, caesareans etc. Even placentas would be great!!

I can of course crop or blur any faces if you wanted me to (or you want to first).

Please let me know if you would consider helping

I have some amazing ones of my c-section birth (taken by the anaesthetist with DH's camera!) Not sure how best to get them to you though. Am on wrong computer at the moment. Um. Let me know how I can get them to you and then you are very welcome to them - sorry, am a slight technophobe.

I've got a few you'd be welcome to use - using g&a, very new born, placenta. Let me know how to get them to you.

I have ones with the baby coming out - the head before the rest of the body (where her head is purple). It is VERY graphic. That what you're after?

Report
Boobz · 15/09/2009 10:13

I also have post birth ones (breast feeding etc), if this more appropriate? Don't want to email you ones of her actually coming out if that's not what you are after, as it might be a bit more than you are after!

I've got some of DC's first feed at under 30 minutes old, if that's the kind of thing you're after? I'll send you some so you can see if hey're useable.

Tree trunk thighs - yes please (and everyone else!) my email is [email protected]

If anyone has any more labour photos (we don't tend to get those taken of ourselves do we??) especially things like being monitored whilst upright, waterbirth, leaning or all fours positions those would also be fantastic. The feding and newborn ones are fabulous too!

I feel very privileged that you are sharing these wonderful photos with me - many thanks
