Raspberry leaf and risk of c-section scar rupture?

I'm 35 weeks and was looking at raspberry leaf, one website says to avoid it if you have had a previous c-section as it can cause scar rupture. Has anyone heard this? has anyone used it after a previous c-section?

I suspect it's not one of those things that has actually been scientifically tested. (I suspect this because you can buy RL tea over-the-counter without a word of warning on it - at least you can here in Oz!)

I used it after a previous CS and I did a LOT of looking at vbac info, and certainly never saw anything about it.

Having said that, I came hair-raisingly close to rupture (according to docs who did em-cs) - but of course there's a 1 in 200 chance of that happening anywy, with or without RL tea.

I used it 2.5 years after my section and had a successful vbac. My labour was very fast and intense so I'm not sure I'd take as strong a dose next time, but scar rupture obviously didn't happen.
