Hi,Has anyone anything to say about Worthing maternity unit, good or bad? I'm based in Brighton, and am nearly 10 weeks pregnant with my first.Early days I know.My midwife told me I could choose either Worthing or RSCH hospitals.I haven't a clue, so am hoping someone can help. I already got some advice on RSCH on the Brighton Local area, but more comments on that are welcome too. Thanks in advance.
Hi,have you considered a homebirth yet?I would then book with the unit which is actually closer for you.The research is very strong stating that you have a much higher chance of a natural birth when planning a homebirth ( even if you do need to transfer for some reason).wishing you a wonderful pregnancy,Anja
Thanks sunrise i am tempted by the homebirth but want to explore all my options before making a choice.
Have a look in the Brighton Local section- there's quite a lot of info re RSCH and Worthing there
