keep on the move, lots of pelvic rocking round and round side to side, they will come back don't worry. tweaking you nipple stimulates uterus and will help it to contract. i know it sound daft but if it works!walking up and down the stairs.good luck
if you feel up to it start at the top of the stairs and give them a sweep using a dustpan and brush. not because they need it but because getting down on hands and knees and the motions will also really help

in the middle of all that pelvic rocking and stomping up and down stairs don't forget to get some rest too, in case it is a long one. You'll need all the strength you can for later on.

Is this your first?

GOOD LUCK.

I did this with ds . Got all excited from about 7.30 in the morning but by 2pm they 'd gone. Came back with avengeance once the rugby had finished on tv , at 8pm we went to hospital and ds arrived at 3.30am. Good luck ! It will happen soon enough, meanwhile take a stroll around outside and get some rest !

If I were you I'd try to get some sleep while you still can ! Have a nice warm bath and try to relax. If nothing has happened by morning go for a walk.

Are you still feeling plenty of movement from baby?

I would ring midwife just for a chat for reassurance, and then as others have said, catch up on your sleep! and have a good meal, so you have plenty of energy.

Good luck with the birth when it does happen!

hello again,do ring your midwife just to keep informed, make sure your getting your 10 baby movements and let her no striaight away if not.
i still think it's normal though. every ones body is different.
how overdue are you, are you booked in for inducduction?
have a curry
and sex if you can get a comfy position, semen has protaglandin in it [natural prostin which they use to induce]
let us know how things are anyway.

dabihp do not despair - I was a bit like this too. Fingers crossed it means that your body is doing LOTS of the preparatory work in advance and when you do get going properly you'll have a short and sweet labour.

the stop-start thing is very frustrating while it is happening but do try to relax and rest and think positive. Things will kick off properly in due course...

hope it goes well.
