What logic/reason did your Consultant give? I've not heard this before (I had a VBAC), but maybe because I've never had a fluid problem?

Do you have an issue with low amniotic fluid?

From memory isn't signs from the mother that will detect uterine rupture? Scar pain and raised bp and heart rate.

It may be worth looking into the effectiveness of CFM as well. I don't think it's as foolproof as one is lead to believe.

A plan and getting things straight in your head helps you see the wood through the trees doesn't it?

I'll keep an eye out for your birth announcement smile

I was booked for elcs at 39 weeks following previous emsc but I went into spontanious labour 17 hours before my op, I decided to go for a VBAC but unfortunately my uterus ruptured and i ended up in theatre anyway.
believe me its painful and you will know about it if it happens to you.
I think if the doctors advise on elcs then listen to them, wish I had.
