Hia im 37 weeks pregnant with Dc3 im 30 & already have 2 Ds's 12yrs & 2yrs, I found out today Dc3 is breech and have been booked in for c section on Monday, When i saw consultant she also mention steralisation at the same time. I am confused now what to decide im pretty sure i dont want anymore children but still have that nagging thought in the back of my mind (i might do later on).
Has anyone had this procedure done & know the pro's & con's??

Oh and has an increased chance of failing! wait until after you have baby and are ready to make it a perminant decision!

I had this done last year. The first time I ovulated afterwards it was really painful, but I'm not sure if it would have been the same after having it done normally IYKWIM.

It does have an increased chance of failing as Wonka said, as your fallopian tubes are more swollen than usual.

I had mine done as it was my third section, and don't want to chance a 4th, although I do feel my family is not quite complete yet.
