My cousin aged 17 has just lost her baby. She was due tomorrow(14/5/05)

Babys cord had been knotted twice poor lamb, Funeral has been set for Monday

Please send all your thoughts to her. She is too a young pup but NEVER EVER do you expect to outlive your children she will never hear him call mummy so sad

sympathy to your cousin and all the family jambo

My parents' first baby died at 8months gestation due to severe toxaemia which hadnt been detected. Mum noticed the baby hadnt been moving and told the midwife who told her not to be such a paranoid new mother. When the baby was delivered they were told it had been dead for 3 weeks - somehow her body didnt automatically dispel her. Incredibly sad to lose a pregnancy but more so as its literally due

Oh jambo how sad

This happened to my friends baby, Thomas, he'd got a knot in his cord which had just got tighter and tighter, and she knew he'd died. she was very close to due date so her husband and mum said 'it's the quiet before the storm' but she just knew (his birthday is remembrance day). I lost my firstborn at 3 days old but it must be so awful to know before labour the baby has died, all that effort - it's so heartbreaking. Thinking of her and you x x x

So sorry.

This too has recently happened to one of DH's family memebers. It was their first baby. She was overdue and didn't feel baby move one day. They went tot he hospital to be told their baby had died. Sadly the induction took a few more days to work. Despite the inquest there is no reason that I am aware of for why this happened. It is just so tragic and cruel
