nope, most women start producing colostrum well in advance of baby arriving. not a sign of labour at all

No, I don't think so ., I leaked colostrum from 20 weeks, dd1 born at 40 weeks.

Don't think so I have been leaking for the last week and am only 32 weeks. Pretty sure my last ante-natal class said you can leak it from anytime as your body prepares.

i leaked colostrum from about 15 weeks - by full term it was just gross (I went full term plus with DS1 and cesection at 38 and a half weeks with DS2)..no relation as far as i know to nearing end of pg.

You start producing and making colostrum from 16 weeks gestation. If you are term and do nipple stimulation i can bring on labour if you are ready.

Agree with above. With DD1 leaked from 19 weeks, failed innduction at 40+10 followed by c-section. Have leaked from 10 weeks with DC2. No indication of imminent labour!
