has anyone got any good tips on helping blood pressure? am 35 weeks, 2nd preg

1st birth with DS1 was induced at 41 due to high bp and start of pre eclampsia - ended up with em c sec after getting literally every intervention going and being just 6cm after 3 days! no surprises there and what happened happened, am ok with that. this time have 3 year old and would love chance to vbac as no real fan of surgery but under no circumstances will I be induced again! would rather have planned section than all that faffing. OB is cool and big on vbac too but my bp has recently been high when i've seen her (weirdly dropped to normal with sweet MW on mat day unit though...)

Is there anything i can be doing to help keep BP down? have booked in for acupuncture at 38 - 40 weeks. Also weekly yoga has been good.

Ta for any thoughts x

Sorry, no tips, though my BP was horribly high at hospital appointments and normal at M/W. Stress/tension, I suppose. Have you told OB about fluctuating BP and asked her to perhaps take an average? I found that the more you think about the BP, the higher it gets. Good luck with the vbac
