CHildbirth for the overweight???

Was wondering if any ladies who were quite a bit overweight would share their labour stories with me...


First pregnancy I put on 6 st, and lets just say I never really lost it (had c section)

am wondering if u r quite overweight does this change your labour experience??

I was and am very overweight. I mean a larger large lady. As i said before about labour it was easy for me. Midwife didnt even need to tell me when to push etc as I jus knew. Just hope it goes as well this time around..

hi, yes she did. and they did fit , for a little while! will gladly donate them to anyone else who wants them (only got to wear then about 4times... grew at a rapid rate! lol)

i am 5ft 3ish, and currently weigh 14st 7lb. was similar weight with all my girls. i didnt gain weight during pregnancy as i suffer pretty bad mornign sickness and my weight stays about the same throughout, which generally means i weigh less after giving birth than when i started lol.

dd1, labour was a non-starter really. waters broke nothing happened, so was put on a drip, 36hrs after waters broke but only 4 hrs of 'real' labour dd1 was born.

dd2 woke up in labour at 5am, at hospital by 6am, had her before 9am.

dd3, had waters broken by midwife at 4.30ish, had dd3 by 7.30.

when i fell pg i was 14st 6 and as i said im due today and i now weigh 12st2 so hope i manage to keep it all off after bumps is born

it was morning sickness didnt keep anything down for 7 months that seemed to have a lot to do with it and now i cant really eat much or im sick again

I am 5ft 2ins was 7 stones when i fell pregnant, went to eleven stone's, after a year and a half of bloody hard work at the gym, im just under 8 stone's. when i was giving birth i felt and looked like a snow man, but being big did'nt find it hard to give birth.
