Childbirth

I'm a third timer - you would think I would know if I'm in labour or not wouldn't you?

Am 39+6 weeks with DD3. Been up since 2.15am with BHs pains, they are about every 5 mins only lasting say a minute tops. When they start I get a lot of pressure in my bum then right down across my pelvis.

With my other two waters broke first time and second time there was no doubt as I was screaming from the off. DD1 was 4h 20m, DD2 2h 30m.

This is so annoying if it's another false alarm (been getting loads of BHs) I will be so peeved off. Surely BHs would have eased off in nearly 3 hours they usually do.

Am having a homebirth DP is upstairs asleep, don't want to wake my childcare either or midwife if false alarm.

oh, feel for you, there is nothing worse, but on the good side all those bh are probably doing something, to make the actual event easier(not that you need it to be shorter)
