Have borrowed a Pool In A Box...what else do I need to get?

Hello there

I'm sure I read a thread on this a while back but can't find it by searching, so apologies if this is a repeat.

I've been lent a Pool In A Box, which came with an electric pump (phew) and a piece of silver bubble wrap type stuff, which I think is the cover to keep the heat in.

The liner is due to arrive today - have ordered online.

Dh is sorting out hose / tap attachment.

Is there anything else I need to buy? Should I get a sieve ? Anything else?

Also, what's the best way to clean the pool before the liner goes in it?

ta in advance for any help.

hiya, off the top of my head some useful bits would be:
? Water thermometer
? Plastic sieve/fish net
? Large towels and gowns
? Non-slip step for access to pool
? Hand held fans

I just LOL at the non-slip step for access to pool - Mars lady who was my doula will tell you why!

Apparently I valted into mine and do clearly remember doing a very satsfying leap I have to say!

You will HAVE to have a thermometer. The water has to be a right temp before you get in or baby can get in to give birth or baby can get infection.

Sieve - yes you might appreciate it. I didn't actually need my one as they was no leakage of anything nasty, not even any blood.

You should line floor before you inflate. This will prevent anything rough on floor from possibly puncturing pool. Then on floor around it lay out lots of old sheets and towels. I asked everyone I knew to clear out their airing cupboards for me.

Underwater camera?????

Very excited for you, enjoy
