Did you bother doing your bikini line before you went in or did you leave the staff to do it for you? I see I get the option after yesterday's appt, and so thought they might as well do it, at least it will meet their 'satisfaction levels' if they did it but then I thought does this appear really lazy and maybe they would prefer it if I did this.

(like I say minor silly question, just curious!)

Do it yourself, as they use cheap crappy razors.

Good luck!

I waxed... never again whilst that pg! Ouch!
Personally, I like to do it myself, rather than a crappy wonky hospital job. Then again, you dont much care after the event!

Do it yourself. A hundred times over. The razor they gave me (I was already in hospital and not in labour!) was crap, thankfully I had my own, and I think if they do it they just dry shave.

If it doesn't meet their "satisfaction levels" they will just tidy it up when you get there! But I don't think they're particularly exacting... no topiary required...

Definitely DIY. It isn't an option as such: they just have to do it if you haven't. Forget about their standards - it is your bikini line!

I got dh to do it (couldn't reach under hugh pg with twins belly) but he did a cr*p job as nurse in theatre informed me, so they used a clippers and did it while i was on the table.

get is waxed yourself. like everyone says they have crap razors. the stuble got cought in the staples when they were taking them out. would have been way better with a wax. i can never understand why they can't wax it after the epidural.

They didn't do mine, as they said it was better to see where the hair was so they could avoid it and not get it in the scar or some such (IIRC - was fairly out of it at the time).

they used a cheap orange razor on me, dry shave whilst on table (emerg cs) and the pain from the stubble was more painful than any of the rest of it. I wanted to strange the woman who had to take the bandage off even though we we're in the shower hurt like hell.

Do yourself a favour and get waxed!!!
