Advice on Consultants (Updated) at Lindo and C&W

We are beginning to look at private option. Have been suggested Lindo, Guys at St. Thomas and Chelsea and Westminster.

We've also been advised that consultants are at least as important as the hospital itself.

Any feedback on Dr. Charles Wright and Dr. Etienne Horner at Lindo and Dr. Duncan at Chelsea and Westminster?

Any advice greatly appreciated

Not much - I was MW led at C&W but Keith Duncan stepped in when it became unclear if I needed to be induced. He gave me a scan and I saw him briefly and crucially he popped in the next day to check all had been OK and had obviously asked the MWs. I'd think of him next time although I think he is younger than many. Positive reports heard also about Nick Wales and Mark Johnson (friends have been under them) and there is a very good thread on this board somewhere about C&W and another on Lindo consultants.
I would book your place asap as they get very full very quickly!

Hi Baby2008

I'm with Mr Teoh at the Lindo and I have to say he's absolutely brilliant. I'm 37 weeks now and despite some complications over the last couple of weeks I've felt in the most safest of hands with him and his team - utterly brilliant, but book in early as he gets pretty busy!

I just delivered under Dr Horner's care and he was brilliant. Discussed issues with me throughout the whole labor and also took time after to make sure I was comfortable with how things went. Hope this helps.
