Hi all

Currently 36 + 4 weeks pregnant

Last few days my vagina has been agony .. it feels like the cramps I get when I'm due on but fairly constant.

The pain has been increasing and tonight it's agony .. literally feels like it all might fall out . I have no pain anywhere else and no tightening. It almost feel like it's getting wider

Is this lightening crotch I hear about?

FTM here

Thanks

Fanny daggers - shooting pains in your lady parts. I had them with both of my DC

Yours sounds like stretching and 'opening' in readiness for childbirth

With DC2 it felt like I'd got a bowling ball pressing down on my cervix and as if something was going to fall out of me, horrendous.

It wasn't labour (I ended up being induced) but everything down there getting ready for labour

Thanks so much for your reply ! I read about Fanny daggers but this is constant pain as oppose to the electric shock most people seem to refer to it as .

It's easing off slightly now so I think I'm going to head to bed whilst the pains subsided

@LJC1234 is it like an ache in your lips (sorry)? If so I had it in the past few weeks of pregnancy and 16 weeks on I still get it. Only in bed and only if I'm led on the same side for a while. I read it's quite common and cant remember the name of it. I googled something like dull ache labia lips and it came up 🤣🤣

No not lips as such a bit more internal than that .. so hard to describe! It's eased off this morning! Thankfully and I actually feel like I can move and my insides won't fall out 😂

Oh gosh I remember it well. I used to refer to it as pistachio fanny- felt like my vagina/pelvis was being forced to crack open.

I will never look at a pistachio the same way again 🤨
