Hi,

So I’m 37 weeks, first timer, I’m booked in to be induced on 30th of May but would really like to go myself first.

I’m booked in because of babies size. He is showing as a big boy, 7.5lbs was measured in scan for 34 weeks 😳...

The last couple of nights I’ve had very intense back pain that stays constant for about 3 hours. It spreads round my front to above my pelvis like period pains, but that doesn’t stay constant like the back pain. I keep thinking this maybe it, but it never comes to anything.

I am going to the bathroom constantly, by the time I get back to the couch I need another pee 🙈🙈...

My bump feels insanely heavy now. I can’t really sit upright at all and need to be on either side constantly.

Has anyone experience this and went into labor soon??

I really don’t want to be induced. The 4 ladies I know who recently got induced after 36 hours, no babies and all resulted in c sections.

I cant answer your question OP but I'm interested in any replies as I'm 39+4 and I've been getting back ache and period style cramps for the last 3 days each night.

They last a few hours but they vanish when I go to bed and the cycle starts again.

Hey @Julzmc I could have written this myself! 6.4lbs at 34 weeks and the midwife was shocked at how long he is at my 39+4 appointment. I'm also booked in for an induction on 30th!

How are you getting on? I think I've just lost my mucus plug after a sweep yesterday. Really hope I go into labour naturally!
