Did you have a bloody show before labour?

So do you always have a bloody plug before labour?
I had one with my first but no sign of one this time around and I am desperate to deliver this baby as I'm in such discomfort. I keep checking my knickers but nothing. Just searching for some hope that I might go in to labour any minute without a sign.

Throw me a bone?

Nope. I’m on my third pregnancy and have never seen my bloody show - I assume it came away later in labour both times!

Yes with dd

I was already starting to dilate, and I when I went to the toilet, there it was.

No with ds

DC1: I had what looked like (sorry TMI!) blobs of snotty egg white about 48hrs before she was born.
DC2 & DC3: Had a bloody show when I was well into established labour

Both times, I lost mine a week or maybe slightly longer, before labour started.

I did with my first. Labour started the next day. With my second I didn't. They broke my waters once I was in labour.
