Elective c section

Hello all,

I asked my midwife if I could have a c section as I have a really bad birth with my son, and I've got really bad anxiety. She said she will put me onto a consultant. I had my first scan letter through but it doesn't say anything about seeing some for my c section? Has anyone else been through this? I just need to know what to expect as my anxiety is playing up really bad :(

Thank you xx

Hi @danim81 - I've been referred to a consultant due to previous birth but my appointment is not until my 14/15th week. So my 12w scan appointment definitely came through the post first.

Maybe give it another week or so? If not then you can check with your midwife.

If your not consultant led then you will only see the consultant at around 30-36 weeks pg.
