Lost my plug - really small amount of mucus with a bit of blood, I am hoping this counts as a show?! How long till labour?

I'm afraid it's one of those 'could be a day, could be a week' things - hope it's soon! Good luck!

I went in to labour about 4-5 days after I lost my plug, good luck!

I had DS about 12 hours after I lost mine,at 39+2.

As you can see from these first few responses it really can vary. Best of luck for things happening very soon.

First baby - within an hour, second baby - a few hours, 3rd baby - a week! (The longest week of my life)

Oh god so it could be ages yet then 🙈 I don’t even know if it counts as a proper show as was quite a small amount of mucus and blood

With both my vaginal births the show was one of the first signs and they were both born the same day. My first was 12 hours after the show and with my 2nd it was 6 hours after. Exciting time ahead!

I delivered within a couple of hours literally 2 & 3 hours on both my dc. It shouldn’t be too long, although I remember at this stage it seems forever! Good luck
