Hi , i just found out i am pregnant and have to choose a hospital to start the process. I gave birth in Chertsey & st Peters hospital first time round in 2016 and i am not sure i want to go through the same again. I was admitted on Friday night and gave birth with help of ventouse on Sunday morning. Tt seemed to me and my other half and my mum who both were there that things started to move very quickly ( rushed) only after the change of staff in the early hours resulting in rushed cuts and loss of blood ( i was offered transfusion ) and lots of shouting between staff .
I have heard some not so nice stories about the hospital since too.
Are there any mums who have experiences with this hospital or perhaps Guildford or Frimley ?
I guess staffing may have been the reason for such a quick change of events in may case ?
thank you !

I had a positive experience at Frimley Park in 2016 and would recommend it to other people. When I had a few issues in labour I felt very well looked after on the delivery suite and the staff were calm throughout and I felt like I was in good hands.

Frimley Park - if it's good enough for Megan (shortlist anyway) it's good enough for most

I don't have experience of giving birth there but have had a couple of other operations & they have been amazing

I am giving birth at Royal Surrey. So far only been there for my 12 week scan as I have midwife appointment at my GPs but so far been very impressed. My scan was on time, I got a letter through with plenty of notice for it and booked my 20 weeks scan there and then with the sonographer. They do monthly tours of the maternity wards which we will be doing in a few weeks. In comparison to St Thomas' London where I had dd1 it seems very organised!
