Yes, 24 hours after the pessary nothing had happened at all and I was sent home.
An hour later I was back at the hospital, 4 hours later my DS was born!

Yes, after three nights of very slow progress waters were broken. Had the drip with epidural and baby born later that day.

Yes, I had 2x 24 hour pessary then a stronger 12 hour pessary. They broke my waters the following morning and 12 hours later DS was born. There was a lot of talk of C Sections but I was terrified of that and luckily DS arrived just before they were about to whisk me off.

Overall took 4 days from first induction.

Stay strong and positive. Your baby will be here soon! Just maybe not as soon as you hope!

Good luck

Yup, I had 3 pessaries starting 6pm Monday and didn't give birth until 6.30pm Wednesday by emergency section. Nightmare! Hope it's quicker for you!

Yep, had this exactly, was given some pethidine for the pain, then spent the next 12 hours throwing up, had to be intravenously rehydrated before they started the Syntocinon and broke my waters, bounced around on a ball for several more hours, had an epidural, baby out in minutes.

Get the epidural, get it now!
