Due date being changed for no reason(1 Post)
I had a scan at 12 weeks and was told my due date would be the 11th of December. This also matched up to what I believed it to be beforehand. I've recently moved and the hospital I'm now at gave me a scan at 32 weeks and told me my due date had changed to the 3rd. I spoke to my midwife about this as she had never looked at my previous scans. She told me she was still going by the new date. She said this was because i was measuring close to it? Throughout the whole pregnancy I've been 2cm behind so would be measuring closer to the first date. However she said it could well be that they got the dates wrong and I might be due on the 11th. I want to avoid induction but I'm unsure on what dates to go by as the midwife has given me no reason why my due dates changed from my two previous scans and she seemed unsure herself. I also believed that later scans where less accurate?
