Hi, I'm 36 weeks pregnant and looking to hire a tens machine. For my last birth i hired a boots one but can't remember which one i went for. They seem to have 3 options but i can't find much info online to see what the differences are. Does anyone have any recommendations about these? Thanks!

I used a rented Elle tens machine last time and it really helped. I haven’t tried any others but I’ve rented another Elle one for this time around

Make sure you get one of the ones designed specifically for birth. I got one that was for general pain and safe to use for birth. It was NOT strong enough. It helped a bit but nowhere near enough. You need big pads to cover your lower spine.

I rented an Elle tens and was very happy with it. It had the critical 'boost' button to use during contractions

Thanks for the replies. I've decided to order the mamatens as the next version up had 140 settings which seemed too complicated! Lol
