Hey!
Today I had a sweep I'm 38 weeks and having a VBAC birth fingers crossed.
I'm due to be induced tomorrow morning- the last 12 weeks I have had a really sore lower back and upper tights was told this was due to the last epidural and pregnancy and SDP this time. My back pain is getting worse I can lie in any position without being in pain. I will need constant fetal monitoring due to last csection etc. I wanna be as active as possible in my labour do you think this will be possible or how can I minimise the back pain I know the contractions will take over but I'm scared of how sore I am already

I had inductions at 38w first time, 36 second time.

First induction I Mia lay laboured on my back, which was awful.

Second induction the midwife adjusted the bed to make a sort of chair with footrest. I mainly laboured in this sitting position and it was so much better. I felt in control, could move around, and I think gravity helped. I moved onto the ball but personally didn't like it that much. I also walked around with midwife and DP carrying wires and drip behind me. I was possibly a little more laden than you will be as I had the foetal monitoring belt (not wireless), syntocin drip mad two other drips for different stuff.

Don't know if you are already in labour, but good luck!

Oh and hear helps with the back pain - heat pads or massage. They may let you slip the belt off for a couple of minutes to stand in the shower.
