Weird sensation after C section?

Hi everyone, this has been puzzling me for a while and i’m hoping someone else has a clue what this is because i’m starting to worry myself.

I had a C section 18 months ago, no lasting problems, nice neat scar, healed amazingly, everything seemed back to normal as could be.

I’m 12 weeks pregnant with second child and lately, when im laid down or move a certain way when sitting, I get a weird pulling/sharp sensation in my stomach region.

It almost feels like theres a metal pin or a bobby pin lodged inside and prevents me from stretching that way. It’s weird but it’s the only thing that comes to my mind!

Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried? Or is it just because everything is stretching again and there isn’t a lot of room?

It caught me by surprise about 10 mins ago after getting up from laying down after comforting DD. When it happens, its enough to make me stop what I’m doing atleast.

Thanks in advance and apologies if I have made no sense what so ever 😂

It could be scar tissue from the first C section which forms after a C section during the healing process.

Thank you for your reply :)
I did think the same thing, despite sometimes it being generally no where near my scar.

But I am ignorant to where scar tissue can form!

I also have no idea 😂. There's all sorts going on as it all expands though.

Your external scar is horizontal but the internal scars are vertical. So you can have pain in a different place to the visible scar.

I had this too, my midwife said scar tissue which makes sense.

Could it be an adhesion from the first C section

I used to get uncomfortable sometimes when I was pregnant with my youngest after a c-section with my first. I was told that the scar tissue does effect how much your muscles and womb can stretch. It can also be painful sometimes when stretching although I didn't really experience any of that.
