Early labour???

So I’m 39+2 and since about 8am last night been having period like cramping sometimes getting stronger but most the time it’s iust constant. Had a little bit of an upset stomach last night too but nothing since and still this horrible ache. My lower back is hurting a lot too like when having normal period pains.

Is this a sign? How can I help things process? I’ve hardly slept in 2 days so just lazing around the house at the mo.

Exciting! It definitely sounds like things are starting, though at this stage it could fizzle out and start up again in a couple of days, but that’s all part of the process. I would carry on lazing around the house to be honest, if it properly gets going then you are going to need your strength! If you feel like it you could go for a walk though, that can sometimes help things along. Good luck!
