I gave birth yesterday to Daughter number 2, with my firstborn I felt hardly any pain afterwards besides aching boobs! Today i am suffering with what feels like the more contractions, I know my uterus is shrinking back and it's still very early but do you have any solutions to ease the pain😩

Paracetamol and ibuprofen if you can take it should help. Sorry you're suffering, they're definitely much worse second time round

It's even worse after baby number 4. And it is especially bad when breastfeeding. The good news is, it doesn't last long. Congrats on your baby.

I think I had cramping for a few days after and took paracetamol, also had stitches and that was sore so paracetamol helped that too. I think just make sure your not passing any big clots and if it gets worse then can always call triage, not sure if same everywhere but I was told I can go or call the triage at labour ward up to 14 days after delivery if any problems. Also I used to get the cramping when I was breastfeeding for the first few days

I just went though this 2 wks ago with DC2 as well. Big shock how bad this was! Dose up with ibuprofen- I was told every 6 hours at max dose was fine and I kept that up for nearly a week. Added some paracetamol in between. And hot water bottle. It does get better around the week mark. Rest up. Congrats !
