Sweep first baby

Hi had a sweep today don’t think it will do much as I don’t think it was a favourable one considering what she wrote in my notes has anyone else had a sweep like this and it still do something? I’m having another Wednesday hoping it will help start things off :)

It does look that you weren’t very ‘favourable’ however it may help things start niggling away!
I had a few sweeps with my first only one worker which was when I was in labour she stretched and promptly broke my waters!

You’ll find stories on here tho that woman who weren’t ‘ready’ ended up going into labour. So you never know!

I had Braxton Hicks in the Saturday morning, a sweep on Sunday evening and that did start off my contractions for me. Although, I had a pretty dragged out latent phase of labour and didn't go into active labour until the Wednesday! I finally gave birth on the Thursday morning. It was my first baby too, so I wasn't expecting much from the sweep, but did start something going...

Had another sweep today, I was 1.5cm and she wrote medium 1.5cm long and I’ve lost a little bit of show got a bit of back ache wondering if anything’s gonna happen
