Sweep tomorrow

I'm booked in for a sweep tomorrow morning, and was just wondering what the best thing to wear is? Pretty stupid question, but I'm rather limited in maternity clothing at the mo! Am thinking along the lines of dress/tunic and leggings?

I'm currently 41 weeks and I've had my first sweep this morning at 10am. Almost 2 and a half hours later I'm still having constant period type pains, a little tightening in my lower back and baby is active. I was 1cm and midwife could feel baby's head. Is this the start of labour or just normal pains after sweep?

Ooh Alexandra that sounds very promising. As I understand it sweeps can often help things along when baby is pretty much ready to come anyway.
I think that sounds like early labour BUT it might fail off after a bit.
After the sweeps I had nothing happened at all!

Been for2nd sweep this morning, 41+3 at the mo. I'm 1cm as well, and very sore achy back! Hoping this gets things going too. I wore leggings to first one and jeans today.

Alexandra that's how I felt after my sweep. Unmistakable contractions by 4pm hospital by 2am baby at 1pm next day. Good luck!
