This might be a stupid question but how is the placenta removed during a CSection?
Do they give you the drugs used during a managed third stage or do they use pulling/cutting to detach it from the uterus?
I had an emergency section with my dtwins and remember them showing me how the placentas had fused together into 1, but I don't recall anyone ever discussing the removal of it with me. There was a lot going on so maybe I've forgotten but I'm suddenly very curious!
