Hi all, I’ve been told that our LO is currently back to back, and I’ve been reading that this can slow down labour. This is our second baby, and was wondering whether anyone had any advice on this? Is it a slower labour? Is there anything you can do to flip them so that they aren’t back to back?

Thanks x

Hey OP, I was told at 40 weeks my little one was b2b. Try not to worry about it; I started a thread on here for positive b2b labour stories and got loads!! Babies can and will still turn right up to the last minute; mine did with the help of sleeping on my side, sitting on a birthing ball and/or sitting upright in the sofa - no slouching!! Good luck!!

All of mine were b2b. I think it can make labour slower.

Mine was back to back, not sure if it was longer as I only have the one experience to compare it to.

Just because it's back to back doesn't mean it will be worse, I managed on gas and air as I was 7 centimetres when I went in

Lots of good tips for turning them on the spinning babies website.
