You're just going to get anecdotes on here, OP, not any hard scientific data.

Absolutely not true. Surely they will monitor growth if that is a concern anyway? X

Second 9.3 at 40

1st 8.13
2nd 9.7
3rd 7.15
4th 11.0
5th 6.15

Why are you worried that the next will be bigger? Why would that be a problem?

DS1 - 9lb 13oz full term
DS2 - 8lb 3oz - 4 days early

Don't believe everything they say. Also, at almost full grown, DS2 is the more solid and weighs more.

Thanks for all your messages put my mind at rest a bit! Sorry not sure how to reply to each person yet I'm not used to posting. I was just worried as every pregnancy I've had problems I've had 2 little girls first was born at 38 weeks at 6lb 5 no problems really bit of bleeding at first and a bit after birth then lost one little boy at 24weeks problems from 5weeks pregnant and none after birth then little girl born at 12days over no problems pregnancy but quite a bit during and after birth so I'm always worried sick with pregnancies as I've not really had any good ones I'm keeping everything crossed everything goes fine this time x

1st - 8lbs 3

2nd - 9lbs 5

Will come back when 3rd has arrived.

Not true for me.

DC1: 7lb 3oz, 9 days late
DC2: 8lb 6oz, 11 days late
DC3: 7lb 14oz, 14 days late
DC4: 7lb 4oz, 9 days late

So, all over the shop! Two boys and two girls.

Scan measurements are notoriously inaccurate too. DC4 was measuring at around 8lb at 39 weeks, but she was clearly nowhere near that a week and a half later!
