Hi
Really worried because of midwife appointment today. Prior to today, my baby has been measuring small (just on the chart to where it should be) and I knew this. Now I'm being sent for more scans because even though I have a big bump, the baby is still small, just made it onto the line what's worse is that the baby is now in a breech position (34+3), which it wasn't before The midwife said the baby could move but if it hasn't by 36 weeks then it's highly unlikely for it to move. She said that it's possible for the doctor to move it (can't think of the technical term) but the doctors in the hospital that I'm registered with don't tend to do that with first babies and opt for a caesarean. I burst into tears when she left; she said because it's small it may make it even more likely for a caesarean (if it's still in the breech position)?!?! I've really thought about birth and had a plan of what I wanted and the idea of a caesarean absolutely terrifies me Has anyone been in this position and things worked out for the best or has anyone had a caesarean and could tell me what it's like both during and after?
