OMG I just want to go into labour now!

So fed up! Only 37+2 , DC3. Stomach ache constantly, strong Braxton Hicks, feeling like I need a poo all the time, period cramps in the front and back. Arghhhhhh. For about a week now. I've had enough now!

My children - 2 and 4 - have become like limpets and will not leave me alone. I just want to crawl into a dark hides hole and be left alone but my husband is self employed and has had a big job come up this weekend. All available help is...unavailable. Frankly it would be a relief to go into labour just so I can be left alone Wink This is actual torture.

Omg I feel exactly the same! I'm 40+3 I have two little limpets too, I fractured my coccyx last week and have spd. I'm on the edge. My kids are on a very long leash tbh -
I let them have a curly wurly and two kinder animal things yesterday- at the same time 😮 That's my only advice, do what you can to get through the day x ps I have drank 5 pkts of raspberry leaf tea in a fortnight, used clary sage with gusto and had a flaming hot curry last night...

I'm 38+5 with third and no signs at all yet.
Although I'm not yet ready for the babies appearance as I still have a huge list of jobs to do that I made myself (painting, cleaning, organising etc)
Good luck for the big day

Haha I hear that! What has it come to when going into labour is a rest?! Grin At least you're close now but yeow, fractured coccyx and SPD sounds very very painful and debilitating. Poor you Flowers

Lol at the children on a long leash. I am still having to co sleep with the toddler because it's easy than getting up with her in the night - she's never slept through - and in the night I try to shift over from one side to the other because my hips are killing me. But she wakes up and tries to turn me back over. Wtf.

What's with the constant feeling like I need a poo? I keep going to the toilet but nothing happens.

I'm only 35 weeks but I feel the same. Baby is freakishly massive and I am already much bigger than I was at 40 weeks last time, very uncomfortable and struggling.

Seeing obstetrician next week and will be begging for an early induction or a nice relaxing c-section!

That was the first sign of labour for me - feeling like I needed to poo but not!

I went 40+15 with DS2 so I am assuming that I will do the same with number 3.

I'm only 31 weeks and already so so so so over it.

I've got nothing ready for the baby we are hanging jobs and house soon. Worst part is we have no idea which job or which house.

I can't plan anything and my lower back hurts and these Brixton hicks are so painful

Oh hugh I know - bloody ridiculous I was ushering kids downstairs for school and slipped, I have never felt pain like it, I have to go on all fours to get off the sofa. The raspberry leaf tea -sigh- it raises false hope... I too just feel completely "grabbed" the baby is positively violent and my 4yo ds is literally attached to me all the time, has even announced he will now never sleep in his own bed again so has been in with me from the onset of bed-time for the last 6 weeks. I do at least have my hubby here - you poor things, just getting them lunch doing washing, making beds etc is killing me. If I was you guys I'd make them a packed lunch for the day that they can dip in and out of maybe ... Salmon my list was like yours at 38wks, you'll get there, just prioritise it and take it slowly. My sympathies are with you all - it's a bloody toil!

Ooo yes I agree about the pressure in bum/needing a poo, I think I read that it's your cervix dilating or things effacing (not sure what effacing actually means) but it's a good sign, I have it a little bit too, the braxton hicks are ridiculous, as soon as I feel one I get into downward dog to try and encourage more, then it bloody wears off! Jesus shnitzel 15days!!!! They've booked my induction for the 21st 😮 I actually think I will not make it. My 1st was a wk late, my 2nd a wk early ...? I did the castor oil with my 1st and she came that night but it honestly wasn't worth it because I was so sick and had dihorrea (sp?) it was awful.

Oh Redcrab the nights and trying to sleep are hardly worth it are they, hang on in there lovey x

I was 42 weeks with DC1 and 38 weeks with DC2 so who knows when this one will come. DC2 was completely spontaneous with no prior signs.

Commiserations to everyone!

Can I join the queue - due date today and have been pooing 3-4 times a day for about a month, have constant either period type cramping or BH the past week and altogether fed up.

Oh comma hope things happen for you soon! Hugh hope that chow mein works for you. I definitely don't think I could be bothered to DTD!

Woke up this morning constantly feeling like I need a poo but nothing forthcoming, pains in the tops of my thighs, Braxton Hicks, and generally feeling very uncomfortable and labour like. But not enough to actually say it's labour. DH is self employed and got a great gig today we couldn't turn down, in laws are all away today as are most of my friends. Feel decidedly spooked I'm on my own with the children and that any available help is at least a couple of hours away. I'm sure nothing will happen - it's just all these non symptoms are definitely telling me things are gearing up. DH is home in two and half hours. We've been to the park and now home. Day is halfway over. I can do this!
