Waters gone?

Last night while I was in the bath I felt a few warm gushes, the liquid was clear. When I stood up there was no further gushing or trickling, after drying and going to the toilet there was what looked like a small piece of mucus plug.
I phoned the labour ward and was advised to lay down and then walk around and call back in an hour, no more liquid came out and so they said to leave it and call back if there were any changes.
I am 32 + 2 and am now in a constant state of anxiety, swinging between thinking that it could have been my waters and nothing is happening and trying to rationalise it by reassuring myself that nothing further has happened! Baby movements are still strong and frequent. Anyone else experienced anything similar? Please reassure me!!

You need to go in and get checkout out as you and baby are open to infection if your waters have gone and labour doesnt progress within 24 hours.
