I definitely could be. I was 39 weeks when I went into labour and my pains started like that but my water broke first. If it is good luck and keep us posted!

Sex has, imo, brought on both my labours!

Good luck!

Nikki, I hope this is it for you!!! You've been following my thread and I'll be jealous if you beat me to having the baby Wink

We have our final family gathering this afternoon/evening and I've told dh that he needs to step up and help get things moving from tonight onwards Grin

After a couple of hours they got further apart and stopped, they then started back up for an hour at 5mins apart then stopped again. I'm so tired and have just woken up I have no idea what is going on but I feel a huge emotional wreck

It could be. I had contractions for 4 days. They felt the same as you describe. My waters didn't break though as baby's head wast fully engaged. But they were strong enough to wake me through the night.
Good luck.

Ah the waiting!

If it's a distraction, there's a thread where we're waiting to find out what unauthorized dog arrives at a hotel.

Ohhh I'm fed up lol last night my baby felt so low if I stood up and tried to walk it felt like he was going to fall out then during the night he must have moved back up again Iv had a few tightenings since I got up including when I move around but I am completely ignoring them from now on ☹️ How are you doing?

My ds is 2 weeks old now, and I was in early labour for a few days, but only at nighttime. Just remember that even though it doesn't feel like it, these contractions are doing something. My nighttime contractions got me to 4cm before the midwife broke my waters and put me on the hormone drip. Less than 2 hours later ds was born. Keep active. Go for a walk, bounce on your ball (if you have one) and just keep yourself busy (without wearing yourself out). It will happen soon.
