First post but been a lurker for a while! first baby 38+6 pregnant and have hardly felt anything at all apart from a few period like aches until tonight. I had an ache which was followed by some gushes of discharge which had pinky streaks in, since then I've had period like pains which some of them are quite painful, this has been going on since about 11pm and still got the cramps and just went to the loo and some more bloody discharge has come out.. I'm so stuck as to whether these are just intense Braxton hicks or the start of the real thing, do you have intense Braxton hicks when you're losing the show? Or should I start thinking of calling up the hosp? Sorry for long post, hope someone can give me some advice as feel quite clueless Blush

Definitely sounds like something to me. Both my labours started in a similar fashion. I'd phone your maternity ward for advice. Good luck!

That's exactly how my labour started. My waters fully went three hours after those pink gushes and my baby arrived 6 hours after those gushes. Good luck op :)

Went in at 3am to be checked sent home at 4 until I was more dilated! Came back in at 9 ish and had my little boy at 12!! Was so quick within an hour my waters had broke and I'd pushed him out! Now recovering in hosp completely In love with him xx
