Due dates

Are your due dates being calculated by your last period or by your adjusted scan due date?
My EDD using my period is 27th June, but all the way along the midwives have used the adjusted scan date of last Tues (21st) as my EDD, which means I'm 40+4. Even then I've been measuring two weeks ahead, so am feeling doubly frustrated I haven't had babe yet. But maybe this has all been rubbish and we should have been using the 27th as my EDD. I know it's still an estimate, but just wondered which date your EDDs are being calculated against?

Both times I have had the due date calculated by the first scan.

Adjusted to scan. Dd was born at 40+13 so I know how frustrating it can be!

Thanks all, I had a sudden feeling I was using the wrong date. 40+13?! Oh my, that must have been hard going. Fingers crossed we don't have much longer to wait.

I was definitely fed up! I was even booked in for an induction the day after she was born. Good luck and I hope baby makes an appearance soon. I've gotta wait till November for my current bump to pop.
