Hi all, not really sure where to post this but after some advice. my little boy is 21 weeks old and my hair is still falling out. I'm not sure how long it normally lasts and didn't want to waste gp time but it doesn't seem to be stopping. Any advice?

Normal I think. My hair only started falling out around then and I was told that was normal. A couple of friends had the same. It stopped by the time ds was 9/10 months and I was left with silly little wispy, short bits around my hair line as it grew back.

Mine lasted for about 2 months, it was awful and I thought I was going bald! But I didn't go bald, took lots of supplements and it's all growing back again.

Mine lasted more than 6 months. I'm afraid it's normal Sad

Mine lasted until I got pregnant again when DD was 11 months, sorry! It's now thick and lovely again but only because I'm 39 weeks pregnant. I'm making the most of it before it all starts falling out again.

Mine started falling out when ds was 4 months old. He's 6 months now and it's still going. I get handfuls out every morning. Someone told me it can be worse if you bf because of all the body prioritising to make milk. I don't know if that's true or not.

Not only is mine falling out, it's also in really bad condition. Art like straw.

Mine started falling out when little one was 4 months.

Yet another something they don't share with you while you're preparing for birth/motherhood!

It lasted quite a months or so, didn't take any supplements at all- maybe look in to those? May help prevent too much loss

Well it's not really loss. Just the hair you should have lost during pregnancy.

The most irritating part of having babies.. Especially the itchy spiky stage as it grows back Angry

I dunno gamer I was less with much much thinner hair than I'd ever had before. I have suffered from stress alopecia in the past though so maybe there was some of that going on at the same time.
I hated the re growth, I had horns!

God yes. The regrowth is awful. DS is one and still can't have a ponytail because I have inch long horns on my hair line.
