Ultimate "calming" songs for labour?!

I'm expecting DC2 in a few weeks and have a little playlist going which helps me feel a bit more relaxed about the birth. My absolute favourite song on the list (and probably ever) is "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison. It's all about not fearing the unknown and embracing it - plus it's lovely and calming to listen to.

So, I wondered if anyone had suggestions for other calming songs - either lyrics or the melody?

Thanks!

Maggie Howell does a birth hypnosis cd, which has background music, and a matching cd with just the music and no voiceover. The music on its own is lovely, and if you do the hypnosis cd as well, it helps you remember and stay calm. Worked for me! Both are on amazon. The music is called relaxing birth music I think.

Thank you! I'll check it out. In listening to a hypno cd but don't think its that one. Always useful to add to the list!

I had Enya playing throughout, it was a cd that the midwife led unit already had, found it really calming.

I listened to Bo Didley in labor. Not even remotely calming but neither was my induction!
